It provides a complete and seamless validation/restoration and replacement service for the insurance industry. From initially covering the North West of England, the Company has expanded its coverage to include all the major postcodes of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Channel Isles, Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man. In the mid nineteen nineties, Independent Inspections Ltd was approached by carpet manufacturers in both the UK and Europe who recognised its floor covering expertise asking it to provide a fault/complaint reporting service. This aspect of the business has grown steadily over the years and the Company now provides this service for many of the major manufacturers in England, Belgium, France and Italy. Independent Inspections is a non-franchised organisation so it has complete control over all its staff from its central office. This provides not only a seamless service but also a consistency of quality. The operations are directed from the head office in Preston which is a business home for the Company's administration staff. In addition, Independent Inspections fully employs all its field staff of Senior Managers, Claims Inspectors, Restoration Operatives and Technical Operatives. These members of staff are home based and work within their own geographical areas. Independent Inspections continually invest in technology to ensure that its clients have maximum management information at hand to study and control claims, costs and trends and to offer a speed of response for the conclusion of a claim.
